Carina Nebula – Art Print

Carina Nebula – Art Print

Price range: $160.00 through $275.00

Fill your walls with wonder! This piece, created by Rebecca, is inspired by the “Cosmic Cliffs” in the Carina Nebula constellation.

Description

This piece is inspired by the “Cosmic Cliffs” in the Carina Nebula constellation. In these space cliffs, gaseous caverns with bubbles, jets, and outflows collide and collaborate to give birth to new stars. They look like the sun-tinged mountains of Appalachia I call home, and mirror the interstellar world of cells and veins in our bodies. We are galaxies. It’s wild to ponder!

Owning a work of art is like owning a permanent window into another world; new things are always being uncovered. This piece holds a special energy that brings healing and mystery to your space.

About the Carina Nebula print:

  • This is an art print limited edition of 30. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
  • The print, with borders, is 18 inches by 24 inches.
  • If you choose to order this piece framed, the size of the piece in the frame is approximately 20″ x 26″. The frame is satin black. The print sits behind lightweight plexiglass (not glass).
  • The edition is signed by the artist, Rebecca Schoenecker.
  • It’s printed on conservation museum-quality paper (Hahnemühle Torchen paper). It looks and feels like watercolor paper. When I had this print made, I did a double-take; it holds all of the intricate colors and textures, making it almost impossible to distinguish from the original work of art.

Shipping Information

  • You have the option of having the print shipped in a tube, flat inside of a box, or framed inside a well-padded flat box.
  • Shipping the print without a frame requires a 7-business-day turnaround (max time) and is sent via USPS.
  • Shipping with the frame requires a 2-week turnaround.
  • Signature confirmation is included. This means you will have to sign for the package when delivered. If you miss delivery, you can retrieve the package from the post office or schedule a time for delivery.
  • Please make sure that you are having the artwork shipped at a time when you are around (don’t have this shipped right before vacation, as it will not be left at your abode).

If you choose to ship in a tube:
  • Shipping in a tube is the safest and most cost-effective way to ship your print. Shipping flat is pricier and requires more packing materials, time, and care. I pack your order with a ton of TLC to ensure the potential for damage is low. If anything is wrong with your print, I will send out a new one.
  • You will have to flatten the art when it arrives, or have some help with another pair of hands to slip it into a frame as soon as unpacking.
  • To flatten your print, I would recommend sandwiching it between flat cardboard pieces with some weight for a few days. I have instructions to help when you open the package.
