If you’ve been reading my newsletters, you know I’ve been obsessed with the Telepathy Tapes podcast.
My mind is on sounds and colors, something the Autists from the Telepthay Tapes explore.
One of the Autists teaches their teacher how to communicate with them, telepathically. (I won’t get into the “how” of this – check out the podcast for that!). This kid, like many other Autists, struggles to understand how to work their bodies, or to function in their bodies.
What the kid tells their teacher about this, telepathically, is astounding. I still get chills thinking about it.
The kid tells their teacher that their light body and physical body are separated, and they need to get them working together. And then, the kid goes on to request tuning forks from the instructor, saying they need to find the sound frequency of their light and physical bodies to begin the integration process.
All of this from a kid. Who has probably never seen a tuning fork in their life.
When I listen to the Telepathy Tapes, so much I’ve always felt is confirmed. Our being exists way beyond our current understanding. All the psychic stuff I’ve experienced and been a part of is the real deal!
Matt Aryn discusses sound and color in his book Psychic Witch. He explores how energies connect to sound and colors. Some of the exercises heighten your senses; he asks you to listen to music and see its colors, and where the colors and sounds sit in your body.
Sound and color vibrations operate on many different levels. This makes sense to me when I think about my life.
When I was being stalked, I listened to a lot of metal; I needed rage. When I first opened my third eye (at least deliberately!) about 15 years ago, I listened to a lot of gentle, spiritual music; I needed safety. When I was making animations connected to folklore, I was listening to the Carter Family and the Anthology of American Folk Music; I needed to hear stories and metaphors.
We connect with sounds that match what our energy needs.
This is also why the occultists and members of the Golden Dawn carefully considered color symbolism when creating their decks. Different color combinations produce an energetic effect to communicate the archetypal information and exude the healing that the card can offer.
As an artist and musician, I’ve always believed that creativity is essential to the health of our energy and sharing in what the collective needs. We are here, together, to expand our potential and help each other. We are limitless in what we can do.
We are multi-dimensional beings.
